So last week, hubby and I sat down and made a menu for the month. Say wha? Yep- the month. We have seven new recipes we're trying in the course of the month- like tomato garlic chicken and ham & rice bake. Most of it is pretty simple so that should free up some time for me to finish my final projects for this semester and hopefully sew up some shorts and jumpers for the kids. Anyway- I'm going grocery shopping this afternoon and would much rather take a beatin'. I hate shopping of any kind- it's such a pain.
On a personal note, I did a really stupid thing yesterday. I walked ten miles just for kicks. When all was said and done, I couldn't lift my leg and I now have this terrific sunburn going on. But it was worth enjoying the last day of good weather for almost a week and sharing it with my family.
Back to food: Tonight will be one-dish chicken with vegetables. I can see the wrinkle in my kids noses now..."Mom, it's all together!" :)

Your so funny! I do the bulk thing in the winter. Right now I'm trying to figure out when I can get to the store for Easter dinner fixins'. We have ours including the egg hunt on Sat. so the families aren't rushed Sunday. Its been so fun that my neighbors have also started doing Easter Saturday. Can't wait for the ham & rice bake. I don't always coomment but I LOVE your new site!!!
I dislike shopping also. If only we could simply beam it in.
I for one like to go grocery shopping. I try to make a menu for the month but fail most of the time. Good luck with it!
I do the hit-or-miss shopping method. I go through the store aisle by aisle and toss in what ever looks good at the moment.
It's why I'm still eating Chicken Cordon Bleu for the sixth straight day...
